Party has eliminated the welcome party up top and have begun their descent into the sewers to look for the hostage.
Ariel Back Story
Ariel grew up in a Air Genasi only race country. In which dangerous cliffs with 100 ft drops were common. That were used as defense against any raiding armies. Air Genasi newborns would be thrown over the cliff edges to ensure only the best babies that had levitate ability would populate the Air Genasi. Also Air Genasi we’re very competitive against Earth and Water Genasi, in which they partnered with a neighbor tribe of fire Genasi to betray another country of earth Genasi. But then the fire Genasi tribe learned a process of leaving their mortal forms and becoming immortal fire genies. And once they all became genies, they all left the material plane to the plane of fire. This left the air Genasi alone against a very large nation of earth Genasi that they had betrayed. The earth Genasi had befriended a number of mortal races. They helped them almost wipe out all the air Genasi in that area. Ariel was just a small kid when the great genocide occurred.
